Big chair for a big man. How to set up the ALPHA CAMP Oversized Camping Chair with Shade Canopy

Here is another Amazon Vine find! This huge chair says it can hold up to 350 lbs (159 kg). No, I cannot test the limits but darned close (sadly enough). They don’t include any assembly instructions so you’re on your own there. But it is a beast! Very sturdy! Very strong. I’m not sure the feet are suitable for the beach but on the lawn, they are perfect. If you’re interested, take a look here….

Palm Sunday and Easter

Palm Sunday Palm Sunday is a Christian holiday that falls on the Sunday before Easter. It commemorates Jesus Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem, where he was greeted by crowds waving palm branches and laying them on the ground before him as a sign of honor and respect. According to the Bible, this event took place on what is now known as the first Palm Sunday, which occurred just a few days before Jesus’ crucifixion. As…

Midjourney is unfriendly unless you pay! $$$$

UPDATE: I tried it again today (4/9/23) and I’m getting the same error, then I search the term again and I found an article. While I’m not a big fan of the Verge, they did talk to the guy in charge. AI image generator Midjourney has halted free trials of its service, blaming a sudden influx of new users. Midjourney CEO and founder David Holz announced the change on Tuesday, originally citing “extraordinary demand and…

I even attended as a VIP in 2014 when my staff and I, from my local magazine, were invited. I have loved this show for years… but we missed it this year. YouTube video…

Breaks locked up on a 2005 Saturn Vue – fixed for <$20

The front passenger side caliper on my 2005 Saturn Vue decided to lock up on me. It happened a few months ago and I jiggled the hoses and it fixed it for a while but now they are locked up! The shops said the caliper was frozen. Of course, the shops all said, if you replace one caliper, you have to replace both and it would be best to replace the rotors and pads at…

SWOT the heck am I doing?

I find myself examining markets and communities while developing a plan to open some food-related businesses. As usual, I am focused on the neighborhoods and communities surrounding the proposed concept and evaluating what will and what won’t work. While I have my own ways of doing this, there is an academic word for it called “SWOT.” It stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. It has been around since the 60’s when some Harvard’s brains…
